I'm utilizing an .htaccess file to transmit all demands to index.php like so:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>

I should also have demands without www to become rerouted to www.mydomain.com and more importantly give a trailing slash to any or all web addresses that do not have one. Each time I attempt to get this done I finish track of a 500 error. Anybody understand how to do that?

Just help.

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.(.*)$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://%1/$1 [R=301,L]

there's additionally a web page specifically made for your reason: http://no-www.org/
