Ive been attempting to redirect a person from the http: page to some https: page.

I've been effective aside from when I have to pass on header information within the request.

For instance this is a copy of my working rewriteRule that doesn't pass header info

RewriteRule ^(.+)loginpage\.action$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/webstore/loginpage.action [R=301,NC,L]

What I wish to have the ability to do is to buy the 2 to operate together. Possess a rewriteRule that does not only moves to https but additionally passes across the header.

My current attempts appear to interrupt the rule altogether.

RewriteRule ^(.+)wishList\.action(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/webstore/wishList.action$2? [R=301,NC,L]

Any help could be grateful. Thanks!

And so i determined my very own problem. For whatever reason the NC which to my understanding just made the redirect non situation sensitive, was that which was leading to the problem.

New rewriteRule:

RewriteRule ^(.+)wishList\.action$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/webstore/wishList.action [R=301,L]
