I installed WAMP and am using Apache 2.2.17 on my small home windows 7 box. Have lots of boxes hooking up into it to request work and so forth.

The apache server crashed on me two times since it stated

[warn] Server ran out of threads to serve requests. Consider raising the ThreadsPerChild setting

I screwed around using the httpd-mpm which is my current configuration within that file

The problem is the fact that despite the fact that I elevated the amount of threadsperchild still it states this within the error log

Why does not my threadsperchild setting apply and work? It appears to default to 64...
