I am experiencing a strange trouble with the way a php file's code (read: source code) is made in certain browser's source code view (I have examined Opera 4, Chrome 10, IE9).

So essentially I personally use Wordpress to exhibit a category, hence while using category.php. The procedure then is always to copy the output source code right into a new .html file and employ that being an email e-newsletter. It has labored wonderfully the final 10 instances, but this time around the browser (as mentioned above, essentially any browser) messes using the source code as with omitting line breaks (not <br />s, but 'new lines' within the code itself, placing line breaks at other points (for instance right between an item and it is attribute), and by doing this messes the entire code up. The page still renders okay, but when i require the source code this can be a bit of the problem for me personally.

Good examples

Original code insperl file:

<table width="758" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center" bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
    <tr height="256">
        <td colspan="27" height="256">
            <a href="http://www.motoscoot.es/shop/" target="_blank" style="border:none;text-decoration:none;">
                <img src="https://www.motoscoot.es/img/newsletter/MsNewsletter_top4.gif" alt="Motoscoot.es Novedades" width="758" height="256" longdesc="Motoscoot.es Novedades" border="0" style="border:none;">
            </a>
        </td>

<!-- ...and so on -->

Processed Source Code:

<table
width="758" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center"
bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><tr
height="256"><td
colspan="27" height="256"> <a
href="http://www.motoscoot.es/shop/" target="_blank" style="border:none;text-decoration:none;"><img
src="https://www.motoscoot.es/img/newsletter/MsNewsletter_top4.gif" alt="Motoscoot.es Novedades" width="758" height="256" longdesc="Motoscoot.es Novedades" border="0"
style="border:none;"></a></td></tr><tr
id="main_content_row"><td

<!-- ...and so on -->

I can not provide you with a web-based link at this time because this is all still happening on localhost.

So using the smooshed output code I'm able to obviously produce the html site, because when I stated before, the rendering still works fine. But to actually have the ability to use it, that's simply impossible. In the beginning I figured it may be an editor error. It's my job to use Dreamweaver, and so i attempted editing and saving the .php in UltraEdit as well as in Notepad++, both yielding exactly the same result though.

And So I request you, fair designers from the subterranean forest: how do you solve this mess?

Thank you ahead of time.

Run the HTML through HTML Tidy before you decide to attempt to edit it. You may also download your own copy if you wish to run it from the batch script or something like that like this.
