I am while using professional php wordpress plugin to possess php code within my pages. I have imported a table in to the wordpress db and replicated my original query over right into a page however i can't appear to have it working.

I can not tell wrong because there's no sql error tossed to the page, all it will is stop performing once it arrived at the query.

$query = "SELECT * FROM 'classSchedule' ORDER BY 'age' ASC";
$result = mysql_query ($query, $link) or die (mysql_error());

$num_rows = mysql_num_rows ($result);
if ($num_rows != "0")
{
    echo "Select a Class";
    while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result))
    {
        $day = $row['day'];
        $time = $row['time'];
        $class = $row['class'];
        $age = $row['age'];
        $level = $row['level'];

        echo "(Age: $age) $day $time $class Level: $level";
    }
}

I have also attempted testing with example code within the wpdb codex but even that is not working.

$mylink = $wpdb->get_row("SELECT * FROM $wpdb->wp_links WHERE link_id = 2");
echo $mylink->link_id;

Someone help! I am using wordpress 3.1.

EDIT Okay I have solved it with the addition of global $wpdb to the top code.

Try getting rid of the ticks around classSchedule and age. Individuals seem like normal apostrophes ('). If you wish to encase table and column names in MySQL (that is optional), use backticks (`).
