There exists a Joomla 1.5 site having a blog inside a subfolder /blog/

We wish to possess a login status towards the top of each page. For consistency of navigation you want to show the joomla login status towards the top of the wordpress blog.

Login Register Help

You're loged in as stephen baugh Help

However , even though scipt blow properly returns the login status, basically combine it with a wordpress template the status is properly came back and attracted towards the screen, however the page stops drawing. Anybody have ideas the way i steer clear of the Joomla scripts making the Wordpress script stop.

Thanks Stephen

Hmm, you will find lots of options. Joomla provides extensive features like register globals emulation etc (many rely on if you are using legacy mode...) - that could easily clash along with other scripts. Additionally, it makes plenty of defines and fills lots of global spots, that could also possibly clash along with other scripts.

A Few Things I could think about to test:

  • Add $mainframe->close();
  • Try setting error_reporting(E_ALL); following the Joomla code has go to see what Wordpress is choking on
