My software creates hosting that is shared, but issues with login on private virtual. Developer states its a PCRE problem. Host states I must get it done myself. Root makes me nervous.

I believe I'm able to install yummy, then, what command will i run?

ie. "yummy install PKGNAME"

I discovered this references on http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5/os/i386/CentOS/

pcre-6.6-3.el5 1.7.i386 but presumed which was incorrect.

Thanks.

So, it appears the issue is unicode related. Upgrading to 7.2 would be ideal, but "yummy install pcre" or "yummy update pcre" both stated I curently have yummy installed.

I discovered articles for:

http://chrisjean.com/2009/01/31/unicode-support-on-centos-52-with-php-and-pcre/

I went this:

 rpm -Uvh ~/src/rpm/RPMS/x86_64/pcre-6.6-2.7.x86_64.rpm
error: open of /root/src/rpm/RPMS/x86_64/pcre-6.6-2.7.x86_64.rpm failed: No such file or directory

I did not upload the file anywhere. I am unsure where you can place it, or ways to get it there.
