I've discovered some similar questions however with no useful solutions. I have to manipulate an MS SQL Server database named PDPJ_Student from the java application and that i cannot connect with it. I recieve the next error:

[Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC][SQLServer]Login unsuccessful for user 'LAPTOP-TITI/Titi'. The consumer isn't connected having a reliable SQL Server connection.

and my source appears like this:

Connection disadvantage = null trydisadvantage = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://LAPTOP-TITIDatabaseName=PDPJ_Student", "LAPTOP-TITI/Titi", "") catch(Exception e)

After i start MS SQL Server, at authenticatin, the SERVER Title states: LAPTOP-TITI and also the Authentication is placed to Home windows Authentication. The consumer title area states LAPTOP-TITI/Titi but it's disabled, along with the Password area, that is empty.

I've also attempted: disadvantage = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://LAPTOP-TITIDatabaseName=PDPJ_Student", integratedSecurity=true)

but nonetheless nothing ..

What shall we be held doing wrong ? Are you able to produce some signs please?

p.s I'm not permitted to alter my Authentication type, and even when I attempt altering to SQL Server Authentication, it doesn`t allow me to create any new customers

Your question does not mention whether the consumer machine is running Home windows or non-home windows. This topic on MSDN indicates when the consumer is applying Linux, you will need to buy the DataDirect driver to obtain Kerberos authentication working. If you are on Home windows, it ought to be possible with Microsoft's JDBC driver.
