I am focusing on this website www.annapogossova.com for any friend.
Presently recption menus navigation is running through Pages i have produced each gallery in.
When the time comes to grow the website - I would like it to be fairly dynamic to ensure that each gallery page/publish is put into the drop lower menu instantly and she or he does not need to edit the nav.php file to be able to encourage them to show properly.
Surely there's a piece around with this? I might go concerning the setup the wrong manner - must i have produced the art galleries as Posts and never Pages?
If Pages are okay - it is possible to method to work recption menus better to ensure that it lists the web pages under each category?
Personally i think it might work better later on if all of the art galleries were Posts inside a category??
Therefore the Wordpress Structure is presently:
Nav text is html > ul &lifier li produces nav list pages by hand > Page (each new gallery) by having an iframe
This is exactly what the nav.php presently appears like
-Edit, I can not publish a lot more than 1 link.. sorry
Pages are acceptable for what you are doing. Produce a page for each one of the top level navigation products. Next, create sub pages for every sub level (i.e. set their page parent within the admin console). You'll finish track of a webpage structure that appears such as the following:
Photography Fashion Gallery 1 Gallery 2 Etc. Still Life Gallery 1 Gallery 2 Etc. Art & Illustration Gallery 1 Gallery 2 Etc.
Then inside your nav.php you are able to output all of this inside a
<ul> structure using the following method:
<?php wp_page_menu(); ?>
The documentation around the above method is here.
