Hey Men, I am creating a WordPress theme that let us a person upload a custom image header while using built-in WordPress functions.

I've this occur my functions.php file:

define( 'HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH', apply_filters( 'basic_header_image_width', 500 ) );
define( 'HEADER_IMAGE_HEIGHT', apply_filters( 'basic_header_image_height', 150 ) );

So when a person uploads a brand new image, they have to crop the look to keep the 150x500 aspect ratio. What It must do is permit the user to crop the look, as lengthy because it fits inside a 500x150px box.

Is possible? Otherwise, I'd rather switch off the popping feature altogether.

Thanks, Came

I have fallen across this while I have been attempting to personalize the crop feature of wordpress. To date, the only method I have found to create vices around the crop is to locate the javascript that initializes the crop and define the vices (or 'options') there. The file are available in wordpress-admin/js/image-edit.js (take a look at image-edit.dev.js aswell, it isn't min'd so simpler to know).

Add your choices in the .imgAreaSelect() function call.
