I've downloaded a sound player wordpress plugin for Wordpress. the syntax really is easy. You simply add the road : "[audio:my_file.mp3]" for your publish editor/excerpt, and refer to it as informed with the_content() or the_excerpt() correspondingly. I must develop a metabox where the user would upload personal files, and also the wordpress plugin syntax would instantly be produced accordingly. I understand how to place the meta-data in to the DB, but tugging it with get_publish_meta() or the_meta() just will get the syntax because it is, without changing it using the preferred wordpress plugin content (i.e the audio player). I figured about dynamically inserting the syntax towards the editorexcerpt by using the filter default_content but the hepa filter only is applicable to normalcy posts, whereas mine is really a custom publish type (audio). your opinions are most welcomed.

Solved. used the_content filter, which enables you to definitely inject content from the code:

    function inject_audio_plugin_syntax($content) {
    global $post;
    if ($post->post_type == 'audios') {
    $mf_plugin = get_post_meta( $post->ID, "mf_plugin", true );
    return $mf_plugin;
    return $content;

    add_filter('the_content', 'inject_audio_plugin_syntax', 0);
