hey. using the following code

<?php
if (qtrans_getLanguage() == "en") {
   echo <?php include( TEMPLATEPATH . '/slider_en.php' ); ?>;

}else{
      echo <?php include( TEMPLATEPATH . '/slider_de.php' ); ?>;
   }
?>

i am attempting to incorporate a file, in line with the selected language from the website. guess my idea is appropriate but i am totaly wrong around the syntax of utilizing use in an echo..

can someone please oint me within the right direction?

thank you,

tobi.

You're already in PHP mode, so you don't have to re-open the PHP tags (<?php). Take them off, also it should work. You do not even require the echo, since PHP drops from PHP mode and in HTML mode if this features a file.

<?php
if (qtrans_getLanguage() == "en") {
   include( TEMPLATEPATH . '/slider_en.php' );

} else {
   include( TEMPLATEPATH . '/slider_de.php' );
}
?>

You cannot echo an include. Try just such as the file, otherwise you can test the get_file_contents function, which returns the file like a string.

echo get_file_contents( TEMPLATEPATH . '/slider_de.php');
