I'm attempting to embed the admin "new publish" wordpress page into an iframe:

<iframe height="500px" frameborder="0" width="740px" src="my_wordpress_domain/wp-admin/post-new.php"/>

For whatever reason the iframe loads an empty page. The hyperlink itself works inside a separate tab and thus does the wordpress webpage inside an iframe.

Is a burglar problem, if that's the case, how do i circumvent it?

Yes, actually this can be a vulnerability. Wordpress lately patched a remote code execution click-jacking vulnerability. To be able to patch a clickjacking vulnerability you revoke iframe access.

To be able to obtain the iframe to operate you will need to customize the x-frame-options HTTP header that's being set by wordpress. You are able to change this header to "same-origin" which enables iframe's in the same domain. Or you might whitelist your domain about this list.

Don't Take Away The x-frame-options HEADER.
