I've installed httpd-2..64-win32-x86-openssl-.9.8o on my small machine and i'm attempting to configure apache to operate SSL.

Here's the alterations used to do to my httpd.conf and ssl.conf files

httpd.conf (relevant changes)

You will find no virtual hosts set up. The primary server is listening on 80

LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so

This line was said. I uncommented it.

Include conf/ssl.conf

This had been there to incorporate my ssl.conf file

SSLRandomSeed startup builtin SSLRandomSeed connect builtin

Listen 443

AddType application/x-x509-ca-cert .crt AddType application/x-pkcs7-crl .crl

SSLPassPhraseDialog builtin

SSLSessionCache dbm:logs/ssl_scache SSLSessionCacheTimeout 300

SSLMutex default

General setup for that virtual host

DocumentRoot "D:/Apache2/wwwroot1" ServerName localhost ServerAdmin abc@abc.com ErrorLog logs/error_log TransferLog logs/access_log

SSLEngine on

SSLCertificateFile conf/ssl.crt/server.crt

SSLCertificateKeyFile conf/ssl.crt/server.key

SSLOptions +StdEnvVars SSLOptions +StdEnvVars

SetEnvIf User-Agent ".MSIE." nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown downgrade-1. pressure-response-1.

CustomLog logs/ssl_request_log "%t %h %x %x "%r" %b"

I've my server.crt and server.key files in conf/ssl.crt

I'm not in a position to access https://localhost with this particular configuration.

After i checked if there is a service listening on port 443 using netstat -aon, i didn't see anything running on 443. I can access http://localhost and there's something running on port 80.

After i attempted apache.exe -D SSL in the command prompt, i recieve this error

(OS 10048)Just one use of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is generally allowed. : make_sock: couldn't bind to deal with ...:80 no listening electrical sockets available, shutting lower Not able to spread out logs

After i attempted openssl s_client -connect localhost:443 -condition -debug from command prompt, i recieve this

Loading 'screen' into random condition - done connect: Bad file descriptor connect:errno=10061

What's the trouble with my configuration?
