I'm attempting to read personal files along with file_get_contents () - it is a remote HTTP file, and I have checked the URL and it is fine. Only it does not work.

More to the stage the the mistake message may be the standard Opera server error:

The bond was totally reset

The bond towards the server was totally reset as the page was loading.

... instead of any kind of PHP error. Additionally, it only required a matter of seconds to return therefore it can not be striking the script runtime limit - any applying for grants what's going wrong here?

It's PHP 5 on Apache 2, running on Home windows btw.

To explain it's my link with my .php file that's getting this problem. Even when the remote file wasn't there I'd a minimum of expect a mistake - that my webserver looks like it's shedding the bond instead of a minimum of giving a mistake message may be the problem.
