I have used wordpress and extremely can't stand the wysiwyg editor. I truly don't wish to spend considerable time using the HTML too. What I'd like would be to have the ability to use Wiki Markup for my publish. Trying to find wiki markup plug ins using blogging platforms is not very useful. The main one wordpress plugin that looked interesting was Wordpress-MediaWiki, but this wordpress plugin does not play perfectly along with other plug ins. I would love to possess Atlassian Confluence like wiki syntax.
try WP MarkItUp, it even provides creating custom markup:
"Wordpress MarkItUp! may be the WordPress wordpress plugin that replaces that old "quicktags" plugin with MarkItUp!, a light-weight jQuery wordpress plugin that enables to show any textarea into an highly easy to customize markup editor. XHTML, Textile, Wiki, Markdown and BBcode tool bars are already provided out-of-the-box, but even your personal markup syntax could be easily implemented with this particular system. The wordpress plugin presently features three different skins for that plugin, new ones are going to come."
