SELECT * FROM ...LIMIT 5, 10

But let's say I would like the entire rows? I'd rather not make another query with no limit. Among the finest that one query to come back the entire rows basically did not place the LIMIT inside.

the only method is much like this (use 2 queries):

SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS ..... FROM table WHERE ...  LIMIT 5, 10;

and immediately after run this :

SELECT FOUND_ROWS();
