I have been doing a search online for many type of tutorial to get this done and I have only found that one that appears to complete the job ( http://tech.nabtron.com/add-custom-area-for-user-data-joomla-1--examined/97/ ) the main problem is this fact tutorial is concentrated in Joomla 1. and I am using Joomla 1.5.. the files aren't in the same location plus some courses are completely different...

It will likely be great should you could point me to some web site where somebody describes how to get this done.. Or if you're a Joomla expert assist me to with this particular please... I've some understanding about php and mysql but I am unfamiliar with the Joomla workflow.

Any type of assistance will considerably appreciated.

Thanks everyone!

Ok.. I have found my solution within this page and some imagination. It had been pretty easy.. I believed it was more difficult.

If you're within the same position as all of us do not understand the tutorial, please please get in touch.

Cheers, Luis.

Your best choice is Joomla Meta http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/usermeta/

It uses exactly the same functionality (well much like how it will likely be implemented in J1.6) and does not require any core hacks

It has been used on this website http://world wide web.theabroadgroup.com/propertyabroad/index.php?option=com_user&view=register&Itemid=71
