I've got a question.

I personally use the brand new custom menus of Wordpress 3.. And I am wondering how do i add custom publish types towards the menu. For the time being, I'm able to just add Pages and Categories.

Thanks

The function register_post_type() takes a disagreement show_in_nav_menus. Should you set this to TRUE you receive a selector for the custom publish enter in the menu manager.

Sample code

    register_post_type(
        $this->post_type
    ,   array (
            'can_export'          => TRUE
        ,   'exclude_from_search' => FALSE
        ,   'has_archive'         => TRUE
        ,   'hierarchical'        => TRUE
        ,   'label'               => 'CPT Test'
        ,   'menu_position'       => 5
        ,   'public'              => TRUE
        ,   'publicly_queryable'  => TRUE
        ,   'query_var'           => 'cpttest'
        ,   'rewrite'             => array ( 'slug' => 'cpt-test' )
        ,   'show_ui'             => TRUE
        ,   'show_in_menu'        => TRUE
        ,   'show_in_nav_menus'   => TRUE
        ,   'supports'            => array ( 'editor', 'title' )
        )
    );
