I'm using wordpress and that i have 9 sticky posts on my small webpage

when someone clicks one of these simple posts I'm not going the publish to spread out

I wish to open a nother page (a category to be precise) you can as well let me know how to achieve that ?

Inside your loop operate a conditional towards the category rather than the permalink if is_sticky holds true.

Lots of styles have a loop.php file that consists of all of the conditionals etc. The fundamental premise is:

<?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post();  ?>

<div id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>" <?php post_class(); ?>>
$category_id = get_cat_ID($post->ID);
$category_link = get_category_link($category_id);

if (is_sticky() { ?>

<a href="<?php echo $category_link; ?>" title="<?php the_title();"><?php the_title(); ?></a>

<?php } else { ?>

<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php the_title();"><?php the_title(); ?></a>

<?php } ?>

Inside your loop you should customize the to suggest for the group of that publish rather.

Your house page could be set on index.php and residential.perl. I would suggest developing a template page rather along with a new page and connecting that template into it. This way you'll leave index.php and residential.perl intact for fallback situations.

If you would like it dynamic you will see the course codex here:http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_category_link
