Within the root directory of the small site i am developing i've the next .htacess file:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-F
RewriteRule .$ index.php

that essentially enables me to possess pretty web addresses because it remaps every path that doesn't is available around the server (eg : /user/particulars/145 ) like a call to index.php where I handle it MVC-style.

Although this works ok on MacOs, today I must focus on another machine which has Home windows (the apache server operates by xampp) and it doesn't act as it appears to redirect all the calls (eg individuals to static files like images) to index.php

Any help?
