OK, I've been attempting to figure this out for some time. I simply lately determined using apache's mod_rewrite rules. I've got a search script set on this site also it uses GET. I've got a html form using the GET method. The issue is after i submit the shape my url arrives such as this: http://localhost/search/?search=name&term=user when it ought to be this: http://localhost/search/name/user

It is possible to method to result in the url such as the second? I'm using php.

Here's my htaccess file too:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^member/?([^/\.]+)?/?$ member.php?page=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^games/?([^/\.]+)?/([^/\.]+)?/?$ games.php?page=$1&p=$2 [L]
RewriteRule ^search/?([^/\.]+)?/([^/\.]+)?/?$ search.php?search=$1&term=$2 [L]
RewriteRule ^([^/\.]+)/?$ index.php?page=$1 [L]

Thanks, Legobear154

It has nothing related to mod_rewrite. You should utilize JavaScript.

Create an onsubmit event handler for the form. As well as in the javascript function customize the form URL based on the form data.

Please try the next:-

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^member/([^/]+)/ member.php?page=$1 [NC]
RewriteRule ^games/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/ games.php?page=$1&p=$2 [NC]
RewriteRule ^search/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/ /search.php?search=$1&term=$2 [NC]
RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/ index.php?page=$1 [NC]

Hope it will help.
