results = docDB.posts.find({"active":True }).sort("pop_score", pymongo.DESCENDING)

This really is my sort at this time. The main problem is, several things have a similar "score". For the reason that situation, when they tie, I would like these to sort by "time" within those who tied.

How do you do this? You can do this in Mysql...

You are able to sort by several attribute at any given time. e.g.

sort({name : 1, age : -1})

will sort by title climbing then by age climbing down

See for reference: http://www.mongodb.org/display/DOCS/Sorting+and+Natural+Order

Edit:

In pymongo, that might be

.sort([['name', pymongo.ASCENDING], ['age', pymongo.DESCENDING]])
