i've got a workflow where a user when will get approved by system. Will get his login qualifications as account information. I wish to send the consumer as he qualifies his account information inside a mail. I don't know how do i retrieve a person password from database can there be a previously existing function in wordpress?
Wordpress does not store obvious-text passwords. If you're able to, you will need to produce a (new) password, update the wordpress database using the crypt hash (using
wp_hash_password($clear_text_password)) and send the cleartext password by email next DB update works.
You are able to store this with user_meta functions ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_user_meta http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_user_meta http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/delete_user_meta http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/update_user_meta ). Then when user registers it will save you his password with something similar to add_user_meta($uid, "clearPass", $val) after which have it fixed when you are delivering individuals emails..
But as stated before, it is not a great way whatsoever.
