Can there be in whatever way to invoke a Java program for the URL in Apache HTTP Server? Thanks.

The architecture is much like this: Browser > Apache > WebLogic Application Server. My requirement would be to invoke a Java code in Apache before request would go to WebLogic Application Server.

If you want to change some values before a Servlet is invoked, the best choice would be to implement a JEE [cde], and deploy it at the web application.

There, that you can do all of the pre-processing you'll need before invoking your servlet/JSP/WS.

Reference: The Essentials of Filters

You most likely wish to stick to the JEE Filter solution. But when, for whatever reason, you cannot do this and absolutely should do this in the Apache layer, Apache has filters. See here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_ext_filter.html
