What's the Javascript to scroll to the peak whenever a button/link/etc. . . clicked on?

<a href="javascript:scroll(0, 0)">Top</a>

Should you have had an anchor link towards the top of the page, you could do this it with anchors too.

<a name="top"></a>
<a href='#top">top</a>

It'll operate in browser's with Javascript disabled, but changes the url. :( Additionally, it allows you jump to anywhere the title anchor is placed.

really, this functions by itself, you don't need to define it.

<a href="#top">top</a>

This can be a "miracle" hashname value that need not be defined in browsers.

Much like this can "reload" the page.

<a href="/">reload</a>
