My jQuery script eliminate after i moved my clients site in the dev-site to their personal site (which basicly has got the same setup utilizing a VPS).

jQuery(document).ready(function() {
    jQuery('input[name=button]:button').click(function(){
    jQuery("#show").html('<center><img src="http://xxxx/images/ajax-loader.gif"></center>');
    jQuery.get("http://xxx/inc/usrreg_ajax.php",{
    namn: jQuery("input[name='namn']").val(),
    nyhetsbrev: jQuery("input[name='news']").val()},

    function(data){
        jQuery("#show").fadeIn("slow").html(data);

    });
});
});

im while using html

<div id="registering" style="margin-top: 15px;">
<div style="float:left;">
<label for="namn">Namn:</label><br/>
<input type="text" name="namn"><br/>

<input type="checkbox" name="news" value="ja">Ja, jag vill ha nyhetsbrev! <br/>
<div style="clear:both;"></div>
<input type="button" name="button" value="Anmäl dig!">
<div id="show"></div>
</div>

I have not provided any changes publish move and also the jQuery script works perfect around the dev-site.

Very gratefull for just about any input!

Best wishes, Marten

Is xxx/inc/usrreg_ajax.php on a single domain as the new site?

You should know there a same origin policy that, for security reasons, stop you from perform ajax calls using their company domain web addresses.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same_origin_policy

Because of browser security limitations, most "Ajax" demands are susceptible to exactly the same origin policy the request can't effectively retrieve data from the different domain, subdomain, or protocol.

You should use jsonp for various domain calls, but you'll have to use jQuery.ajax for your, and will not have the ability to obtain the html as easy as you do at this time

I test drive it here http://jsfiddle.net/bingjie2680/D4NuF/ and delay pills work(obtain the image to appear), there has to be an issue with the hyperlink to jQuery library.
