I've got a small jQuery menu setup on my small site Destiny Islands within the top right corner. Whenever you click a game title it possesses a smooth scrolling effect to show the sub pages.

I am attempting to discover how you can keep your menu open if you click a subpage? At this time should you click Kingdom Hearts -> Overview the page will load using the whole menu shut. I wish to keep your "Kingdom Hearts" submenu open for those its child pages (I am using Wordpress in the event that matters). Would appreciate any help! Pleased to clarify myself if necessary.

I have had this issue not long ago, however i did not use jquery. I believe this can be used on you are site. The concept is straightforward: show a div if you are on the subpage.

<?php
global $wp_query;

if( empty($wp_query->post->post_parent) ) {
$parent = $wp_query->post->ID;
} else {
$parent = $wp_query->post->post_parent;
} ?>
<?php if(wp_list_pages("title_li=&child_of=$parent&echo=0" )): ?>
<div id="show">
<ul id="menu" class="black">
<li><a href="http://www.myhomepage.com">Home</a></li>
<?php wp_list_pages("title_li=&child_of=$parent" ); ?>
</ul>
</div>

<?php endif; ?>

Essentially this script inspections if you're on the page or on the sub-page. If you're on the sub-page it'll show the div with id="show"(their email list of subpages who have a similar parent because the supage you are presently on).
