I am attempting to run Microsoft 'office' Communicator 2007 on client which isn't a part of an NT Domain, but that has VPN use of my corporate network. When attemping to authenticate, however, MOC just dangles forever. Can there be a way to configure MOC to ensure that it connects, even when the customer machine isn't a person in the NT Domain?
I've verified that the corporate machine can connect in the same remote location, therefore it is not really a networking problem.
I believed this out: you must have the domain's certificate installed like a Reliable Root around the client machine. So, it's possible: you need to simply really really trust the server whether it's a self-signed certificate.
