I have a table where I have two fields:

dateCreated
dateUpdated

I would like both fields to carry timestamps, dateCreated to possess a DEFAULT CURRENT TIMESTAMP flag and dateUpdated to possess a ON UPDATE CURRENT TIMESTAMP behavior, however appears which i can't have several timestamps area types on a single table.

It might be really helpful when the database might take proper care of this for me personally, can one circumvent this problem in some way?

YES We Are Able To.

Use a [cde] to update the area, like so:

trigger

By doing this, you are able to set your auto-update area while using native MySQL method, and employ this to capture the creation date.
