I've got a website develop the Wordpress Platform whith an horizontal menu.
When seen in ie 9+ and opera it appears okay, but on ie8- recption menus css classes appears not right.
I'm battling to obtain the issue in the css using firebug.
Could someone please produce a hands and assist me to with this particular problem...

should you review your IE8 construed source - you will see - IE8 does not render nav-Tag proberly. The reason being nav-Tag is HTML5 standard - and <IE9 can't cope with that. That's why you ought to implement html5.js - to resolve that problem. You probably did - but the file does not exist.
You are using HTML5 tags like
header, nav, footer, which aren't supported in IE8 and below. If you would like this to operate in IE8 and below, just add this script inside your

Its appears as if you used css3 qualities inside your code. Ie8 dosent support css3. A piece around with this is u can also add Cake.htc inside your project, this is a link take a look
Well the primary problem that arises is the fact that IE8 and older dont implement the tag properly. I'd make another wrapper or change it out to some div. You also should left your elements float more for IE. Hope it will help u a step further.
