apologies for that question again my last question was poorly requested and code didn't have.

I am getting challenge with my wordpress plugin I am attempting to implement the wordpress media uploader, regrettably iv went right into a problem

i've it working and turning up whenever a upload button is clicked on however it shows only 1 / 2 of the uploader

i believe i discovered the issue for whatever reason the TB_window div opens with margi-left: -334px i modified this in fire fox (fire bug) to auto it seems normally e.g. the present div appears like this.

<div id="TB_window" style="width: 670px; height: 351px; margin-left: -335px; top: 20px; margin-top: 0pt; display: block;">

and when i change it out to

<div id="TB_window" style="width: 670px; height: 351px; margin-left auto; margin-right: auto; top: 20px; display: block; position: fixed;">

there has to be an easy hook / method to alter the css with this box for my wordpress plugin

how do i do that ?

Well I believe the simplest is always to just edit the CSS apply for your Wordpress installation. Log into Wordpress and navigate to Appearance -> Editor. Then look for styles.css in bottom right. Add your CSS markup to here.

div#TB_window { margin-left: auto; }

In the event that does not work you'll be able to place code in to the mind of the blog utilizing a callback.

add_action('wp_head', 'InsertMyStyleSheet');

function InsertMyStyleSheet() {
  echo '<link href="pathToStylesheet" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" />
}

And add your personal CSS for the theme there.

As lengthy as depending on Javascript is not an issue, you could attempt the next:

_tbw = document.getElementById('TB_window');
_tbw.style.margin = "auto";

Or, if you are using jQuery:

$(document).ready(function(){
  var _TBwindow = $('#TB_window');
  _TBwindow.css('margin-left', 'auto');
}
