I've installed the lastest version of Wordpress today.

I could run PHP files but when I attempted creating my wordpress-config.php file no files appear to complete PHP any more.

Basically visit the index.php and run it out of the box (according to WordPress) all I find out if the PHP Code itself during my browser. However, basically place the following towards the top of the file:

phpinfo(); die();

I can tell the PHP information which the server is running normally. Leaving comments that line, again shows the PHP Code itself within the browser.

I'm able to create another PHP file within the root folder for example make sure echo out an argument which works not a problem either. Only the WordPress code appears not to work.

PHP Version: 5.3.2 (Ubuntu 10.4 and Apache2) Wordpress Version: 3.1.2
