I am assembling a website with different Wordpress template, and wondered if there's a method to link one publish to a different without entering the entire URL. Let me have the ability to use something which does not change when the parent directory or subdomain changes. Any ideas?

Posts

To connect to a Publish, discover the ID from the target publish around the Posts administration panel, and place it instead of the '123' within this link:

<a href="index.php?p=123">Post Title</a>

Groups

To connect to a Category, discover the ID from the target Category around the Groups administration panel, and place it instead of the '7' within this link:

<a href="index.php?cat=7">Category Title</a>

Pages

To connect to a webpage, discover the ID from the target Page around the Pages administration panel, and place it instead of the '42' within this link:

<a href="index.php?page_id=42">Page title</a>

Linking Posts, Pages, and Categories

Something similar to: <a href="index.php?p=123">Post Title</a> should work even when you utilize permalinks.
