I've setup a proxy with mod_proxy and mod_proxy_http with Apache 2.2.x in Linux. It is a forward proxy with fundamental auth to bypass the annoying untangle!! (software schools use to bar websites -_-). anyway, I wish to share my proxy with my buddies but I'm not going these to have the ability to begin to see the my router login at 192.168.1.1 or my local websites. I'd prefer when the proxy did not access anything on 192.168.xxx.xxx and 127...xxx

This really is my current config:

Listen *:8080
<IfModule proxy_module>
<IfModule proxy_http_module>
<VirtualHost *:8080>
    ProxyRequests On

    <Proxy *>
        Order Deny,Allow
        Allow from all
        AuthType Basic
        AuthName "Password Required"
        AuthUserFile /var/www/.htpasswd
        Require user flor j candy

    </Proxy>
</VirtualHost>

</IfModule>
</IfModule>

I believe I must customize the line

<Proxy *>

Something rather than the *, but I am unsure. Also, no clue how you can put IP ranges (the 192.168./16 stuff)

btw, any advice on acquiring the proxy will also be welcome .^^
