I'm using apache+mod_wsgi+django. I find this case. I've got a web page proven within the browser but with no css style which needs to be there allegedly. Here's my configuration around the setting.py and apache_django_wsgi.conf.

setting py:

import os.path
import posixpath

PROJECT_ROOT = os.path.abspath(os.path.dirname(__file__))
STATIC_ROOT = ''
STATIC_URL = '/static/'

STATICFILES_DIRS = (
# Put strings here, like "/home/html/static" or "C:/www/django/static".
# Always use forward slashes, even on Windows.
# Don't forget to use absolute paths, not relative paths.
'/Users/.../static',
'/Users/.../static',
'/Users/.../static',
'/var/Project/static',
)

STATICFILES_FINDERS = (
'django.contrib.staticfiles.finders.FileSystemFinder',
'django.contrib.staticfiles.finders.AppDirectoriesFinder',
 #    'django.contrib.staticfiles.finders.DefaultStorageFinder',
 )

apache_django_wsgi:

Alias /static/ /var/Project/static/
<Directory /var/Project/static>
Order allow,deny
Options Indexes
Allow from all
IndexOptions FancyIndexing
</Directory>

where will i do wrong?

After which after i try "python manage.py findstatic css/primary.css" it returns me the mistake message such as these:

Updates: Um..I believe the road is appropriate because after i look into the error_log, I discovered the server can locate the css/js. It simply deny my access. The content is much like these:

 client denied by server configuration: /var/Project/static/js/jquery.min.js, referer: http://<server>

So can anybody train me the way i can deal with it? Is there anything related to the sql server?

Your traceback is not related to static files. Look at your DATABASE_* or DATABASES configurations to fit your atmosphere. Check and if you mysql daemon is running (ps aux | grep mysql in ubuntu). Following this traceback is finished, you need to do python manage.py collectstatic that will copy all of your static files into one location Apache can serve it from.
