Please review my .htaccess code below. The code below was recommended by I User here (Just code Gumbo), And That I can't appear to really make it work.

RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]+\ /myadmin[/\s] [NC]
RewriteRule ^myadmin - [NC,L,R=404]

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} =myadmin.movietunie.com [NC]
RewriteRule !^myadmin/ /home/movietun/public_html/movie_tunie/myadmin/%{REQUEST_URI} [L]

What I wish to happen, During my domain (www.movietunie.com) I've got a folder named (myadmin) and may be access by visiting (www.movietunie.com/myadmin). Now you will find lots of user keep being able to access that folder. I wish to minimize it by altering the dwelling from it.

I would like (myadmin) to become access inside a subdomain structure rather than '/' so it might be something similar to this (myadmin.movietunie.com), Now once the attempt to access (www.movietunie.com/myadmin) from the browser they'll have an error, However the folder structure will still remain.

Hope this seem sensible

Thanks!

Why not setup two virtual hosts for this function? Something similar to

Listen 80
NameVirtualHost *:80

<VirtualHost *:80>
  ServerName www.movietunie.com
  ServerAlias movietunie.com
  DocumentRoot /home/movietun/public_html/movie_tunie/

  Redirect 301 /myadmin* http://myadmin.movietunie.com
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *:80>
  ServerName myadmin.movietunie.com
  DocumentRoot /home/movietun/public_html/movie_tunie/myadmin/
</VirtualHost>

Something similar to this will work:

RewriteRule ^myadmin - [NC,L,R=404]

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} myadmin.movietunie.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /myadmin/$1 [L]
