I've written this:

RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} ^443$

And delay pills work exactly the same basically take away the ^ symbol.

^ means match oncoming of string/line. Without ^ you will also match e.g. 1443. And on a single note, $ means match finish of line.

So, ^443$ matches 443 exactly. 443$ matches something that finishes with 443. ^443 matches something that begins with 443.

^ means start and $ means the end

Inside your situation it'll only match 443

^443 will match 443, 4431,4432 and so forth

443$ will match 443, 1443, 2443, 51443 and so forth
