I'm attempting to achieve a simple yet complicated factor: Remove index.php from the blog URL

I've permalink setup as: /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

I've attempted atleast 20 good examples online during my .htaccess file but not one of them work: Either the entire website does not work or even the records dont. I recieve 404s

Couple of good examples I attempted:

RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?p=$1 [NC,L]

and

RewriteRule (.*) index.php/$1 [L]

and

RewriteRule .* /index.php [L]

and

Options +Followsymlinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

and so forth.. Regrettably not one of them works. Helicon technical support is requesting money that helped me to so doorways are closed there.

Any rewrite rule expert? Is going to be grateful for you.

Regards,

This can be a config that actually works for all of us

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule .* index.php

If it doesn't meet your needs, there might be hundred of reasons, beginning form inadequate permissions and ending with custom IIS configuration, etc.

Attempt to follow Troubleshooting portion of documentation, attempt to begin with enable logging and test some fundamental rewrites.
