I'm wishing to validate my considering the easiest method to index PDF's using GSA but supplying a URL for that file that links to some page as opposed to a direct connect to the file.

The proposal is to produce a WordPress site that enables customers to upload, add an excerpt, classify and tag PDF files. The PDF files ought to be downloaded in the page in which the document is related from, which page will contain meta data concerning the document.

I'd normally only use WordPress to index and check this content, however, full text indexing from the PDF's documents is needed within this project.

I wish to validate that the possible solution with this is to produce a custom web feed for GSA that pushes over XML that consists of the Hyperlink to the PDF document, using the Display URL set towards the page in WordPress in which the document is related from. Theoretically, this can index items in the PDF documents for all of us, and can connect to the page in WordPress in which the document is related from with it's additional meta data.
