I'm thinking about transforming some longitude and latitude values to XML after which delivering the file to some web server to show on the Google Map Interface.

Can you really send an XML file to some web server through my very own application in Android?

Yes. Simply make a http publish together with your xml data. You'll need a web server script that handles the xml you published towards the server aswell.

Android includes a public class known as [cde] that will work fine.

Essentially you specify the url the server that you're delivering the HTTP request to and also the content from the XML adopts the Publish area. The net server will get the request and, presuming a php script reaches the URL, the script can grab the contents via its very own HttpPost global variable and use the XML what must be done.
