OK, it may sound simple, it appears easy and it weighs in at simple. But it is not. I can not for that existence of me understand this working.

Let us say I've this URL structure:

http://world wide web.test.com/%action%[/%param1%/%paramX%]

I have to redirect (really I would like a REWRITE) to:

http://world wide web.test.com/index.php?option=com_%action%&param=[%param1%,%paramX%]

For instance:

http://world wide web.test.com/product/25/allproducts/food/cakes/cheesecake

Becomes:

http://world wide web.test.com/index.php?option=com_product&param=25,allproducts,food,cakes,cheesecake

Ideas? :-)

if you do not mind to possess this type of parameters:

http://world wide web.test.com/index.php?option=com_product&param=25/allproducts/food/cakes/cheesecake

you can test this rule:

RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/(.*) /index.php?option=com_$1&param=$2

it will work, however i havent check it )
