I've been having fun with Wordpress and jQuery - both a new comer to me. Your blog I'm focusing on includes a fixed header towards the top of the page with two buttons, as both versions 35mm slides lower a panel within the blog content using jQuery.

However , around the iPad nothing occurs when the buttons are clicked on - aside from, for whatever reason, it loads the infinite scroll. I've heard that IOS does not like position:fixed however i do not understand what impact this might dress in the buttons/sliding content. Any info/tips could be greatly received.

*Edit: It might appear .click will not work(?) around the iPad and I have to in some way swap it for any touch event.

The jQuery and CSSis below and also the blog is located at http://pixelism.me

CSS

> .about, .contact {
>     background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #000000;
>     display: none;
>     height: 500px;
>     position: fixed;
>     top: 90px;
>     width: 100%;
>     z-index: 100; }

jQuery

 $('.about_btn').click(function(e) {
    if($(this).hasClass('open')) {
        $('.about').slideToggle('slow');
        $('.about_btn').removeClass('open');
        return false;
    } else {
        $('.about').slideToggle('slow');
        $('.contact').hide();
        $('.about_btn').addClass('open');
        $('.contact_btn').removeClass('open');
    }
});

 $('.contact_btn').click(function(e) {
    if($(this).hasClass('open')) {
        $('.contact').slideToggle('slow');
        $('.contact_btn').removeClass('open');
        return false;
    } else {
        $('.contact').slideToggle('slow');
        $('.about').hide();
        $('.contact_btn').addClass('open');
        $('.about_btn').removeClass('open');
    }
});

$('.close').click(function(e) {
    e.preventDefault();
        $('.about').slideUp('slow');
        $('.contact').slideUp('slow');
        $('.about_btn').removeClass('open');
        $('.contact_btn').removeClass('open');
});

I'v had issues with jQuerys "click" event on iOS a couple of occasions.

The answer which has labored for me personally continues to be adding this css towards the clickable element...

pointer: cursor;
