This really is more an answer than the usual question.

In Wordpress when adding ThickBox gallery to custom page / media-tab one might see 2 pinky pictures within the list, as with screenshot:

2 thumbnails in media-gallery

Things to notice is you dont make use of the following script by hand

<script type="text/javascript">
     jQuery(function($){
     var preloaded = $(".media-item.preloaded");
     if ( preloaded.length > 0 ) {
         preloaded.each(function(){prepareMediaItem({id:this.id.replace(/[^0-9]/g, '')},'');});
     }
     updateMediaForm();
     });
</script>

When calling get_media_products($publish_id, $errors = null) than the JS is going to be added automatically

Hope it will help
