I acquired headache with this code:

$information is "NULL"
I'm not sure why, its support to echo something similar to :( Spend like 5 hrs today, and it is still NULL :(

I checked your code snippet in PHP's interactive mode (
php -a in the command line)
wget prints that information to STDERR, not STDOUT.
