To begin with, the title does not quiet explain the issue I've however i did not know much better method to place it...

System Setup has three layers.... Apache httpd server, SiteMinder and Tomcat which hosts the application.. Once the user makes its way into the url "https://abc.com/myapp/", request is going to be selected-up by SiteMinder when the user does not possess a valid session and will also be motivated having a login form. When the authentication is effective, the consumer ought to be rerouted to "https://abc.com/myapp/home.html" but it's not happening. Rather, we're getting, http not found error -- "error/HTTP_NOT_FOUND.html.var". And also the logs come with an entry for file not found - "opt/applications/tomcatxx/webapps/myapp/home.html"... Well, the file home.html does not exist.. that URL must have been intercepted through the dispatcher servlet and resolved through the controller to "opt/applications/tomcat/webapps/myapp/WEB-INF/jsp/home.jsp".. To ensure that error part is exactly what I do not understand.. why exactly may be the application searching for "home.html" under web-application root and why wasn't it rerouted through the controller?

I've used another build version which does not use SiteMinder and Apache webserver and directly connects towards the tomcat port - and voila, it really works easily.. To ensure that means, the issue is using the way apache redirects to tomcat or even the way assets are safe by SiteMinder.. has anyone has prior knowledge about this type of problem? I have to know why the "xxxx/home.html" wasn't acquired through the controller...
