At the office you will find there's couple of sites located on our development server. The folder that contains each one of these sites is planned like a network drive.

In VisualStudio I open the main from the site like a WebSite so when I build the website I alwys understand this error.

Error 4 An error happened loading a configuration file: Unsuccessful to begin monitoring changes to 'I:Sitenamewwwroot' since the network BIOS command limit continues to be arrived at. For additional info on this error, please make reference to Microsoft understanding base article 810886. Hosting on the UNC share isn't supported for the Home windows XP Platform. I:Sitenamewwwrootweb.config

I have examined the KB article making the registry changes it indicates but this did not help.

Does anybody are conscious of a fix or workaround with this?

Rather than utilizing a planned drive, use full UNC path and provide your present drenched in user use of that path: MachineNameSitenamewwwrootweb.config

Odds are high you're going to get another effect from that , particularly if the Planned drive had been planned with various qualifications.

Have a look only at that hotfix:

It cures the issue
