I'm developing a job board site using wordpress in which a user will complete an application and so the form data is going to be published towards the site (also known as, it'll produce the job publish). I have tried personally cforms to produce the shape, which looks fine, but is not working. Can you really go ahead and take form data and make up a publish from this? Or go ahead and take form data, place it right into a database, after which call the database records and make posts from their store? I'm not really sure how to overcome this. It is possible to better method of doing this than using cforms?

If you do not mind using records rather than forms, I'd use:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-field-template/

This provides the chance to produce the metaboxes you'll need and offer them connected right template.
