I'm by using this jQuery Carousel in the wordpress theme to exhibit several banner images. I selected this script because I'm not a good js coder and needed pagination that's instantiated instantly. you can observe a good example of this issue at http://bfc.ravennainteractive.com . It shows the very first image. You will find three available images, it lists 3 pagination products, but images 2 and three just show black skills.

jQuery(document).ready(function(){
            jQuery("div.hero").carousel({
                loop: true,
                pagination: true,
                autoSlide: true,
                autoSlideInterval: 5000,
                dispItems: 1

            });
    });
    <div class="hero">
        <ul>
                <?php query_posts('category_name=header');?>
                <?php if ( have_posts() ) : while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
                    <li>
                        <?php $header_image = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'header_image', true); ?>
                        <a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>"><img width="930" height="365" src="<?php echo $header_image; ?>" /></a>
                    </li>
                <?php endwhile; else: ?>
                <?php endif; wp_reset_query(); ?>
         </ul>
</div>

Should you view source, and click on the pictures, they're there, the web addresses are great. Is something stupid?

Does not the course "hero" continue the ul tag?

Just comments. With this particular specific slide carousel, the .hero class continues the that contains div. However finally determined that my problem was css based. I never set the li's to show:inline.

thanks a lot
