We will use solr as our search server but you may already know solr is dependant on java and apache server and our database is MSSQL and our webserver is IIS. Would you possible suggest me the easiest method to incorporate java apache asp.internet and IIS?

You can't deploy Solr inside IIS since it takes a servlet container. Rather you are able to deploy solr in any of the below servelt containers

  • Glassfish
  • JBoss
  • Jetty (default, incorporated into solr package)
  • Resin
  • Tomcat
  • Weblogic
  • WebSphere

You'll find the in-depth particulars about each deployment here SolrInstall

You'll be able to talk to solr from .internet using both of these motorists(clients)

Its not necessary to bother with IIS whatsoever.
